LB2500 Asphalt Mixing Plant Successfully Commissioned in Malaysia: Stable Output at 200t/h

04-09-2026

TTM has completed installation, commissioning, and acceptance of its self-developed LB-2500 asphalt mixing plant in Malaysia. The unit entered full production, delivering its first batch of hot mix under tropical conditions, marking another step in TTM's Southeast Asia expansion.

The LB-2500 asphalt mixing plant is a stationary batch-type unit with a rated capacity of 200 tons per hour, suited for highway and municipal road projects. The system integrates cold aggregate feed bins, drying and burning unit, vibrating screening tower, hot aggregate silos, weighing and mixing section, bag-house dust collector, asphalt storage tanks, and a central control cabin.

This containerized LB-2500 asphalt mixing plant follows international container standards in its modular design. Its framework carries China Classification Society certification, complying with the Container Inspection Specification and the International Convention for Safe Containers. Each module ships as a standard container, streamlining sea freight and cutting customs costs.

The rotary dryer features an optimized length-to-diameter ratio and flight arrangement matched to TTM's proprietary burner. Support rollers and riding rings use forged construction, delivering higher structural integrity and extended service life under heavy-load conditions.

The burner adjusts flame dimensions to match dryer conditions. A medium-atomization design reduces fuel consumption. The unit runs on diesel, heavy oil, residual oil, or natural gas. Dual oil pumps paired with a variable-frequency digital control loop regulate the air-fuel ratio.

The vibrating screen uses twin vibration motors in a maintenance-free assembly. Screen meshes use spring-tension hooks for quick replacement. Separation efficiency reaches 95% or above, with cross-bin rates held below 5%, producing graded aggregates for high-standard pavement.

The mixing and batching system applies automatic drop compensation throughout the aggregate feed cycle. A large-capacity trough with twin-shaft forced mixing, driven by a shaft-mounted gearbox with gear-synchronized transmission, keeps the structure compact. Every LB-2500 asphalt mixing batch delivers precise gradation and homogeneity.

The dust collection system integrates gravity separation with fabric filtration in a pulse-jet bag filter. This shortens installation time, reduces pipeline heat loss, and raises thermal efficiency by 1% to 2%, cutting fuel demand.

Malaysia's climate brings sustained heat, heavy rainfall, and high humidity, placing stringent demands on plant stability. The LB-2500 asphalt mixing system passed commissioning without complications, demonstrating reliable output and energy efficiency that earned recognition from the local client team.

Now that the plant is fully operational, it will supply steady asphalt output to support local road and infrastructure development across Malaysia. TTM will keep delivering reliable, cost-efficient LB-2500 asphalt mixing plants and dedicated after-sales support to road-building contractors throughout Southeast Asia and neighboring markets.
